She works mostly from a play therapy perspective with younger children clients, as she feels it is the most therapeutic way of allowing children to open up in the therapy room. She enjoys working with parents to provide them with tools and skills to help support their child and the rest of the family to form a closer bond. She has worked with many adolescent and teenage clients, and is happy to lend support to them through a period of life she feels can be especially challenging, and have many changes.
Kasey also has experience working with couples and strives to bring couples closer together through emotional healing. She strives to make therapy a safe and inviting environment where all judgment is suspended.
Kasey has completed her Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at Virginia Tech University. She is also a graduate from Florida Atlantic University with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Sociology.
