Dave Edwards, M.A. is a Resident in Counseling. He has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and families. He has helped children and adolescents struggling with anxiety and depression and assists them in returning to a more functional and balanced state. He approaches therapy from cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and family systems perspectives as well as using expressive therapies such as art, play and sand tray.
Dave also has experience working with children in the domain of professional soccer coaching. Throughout a 27-year coaching career Dave has coached children as young as 4 years of age to NCAA college athletes. In addition to coaching, Dave has helped young athletes resolve issues with self-confidence, self-esteem and anxiety in sports.
Dave graduated from the M.A. Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Marymount University. in 2016 and completed his BSc. In Sports Science from Staffordshire University in England in 1997. Dave is a Resident in Counseling currently working towards his License as a Professional Counselor and is under the Supervision of Kris Marowski, LPC, RPT-S.
